Julie Romero

Julie is now living in Lafayette, Louisiana with her husband Kerry Dupre.  They have 2 children, Heather Renee and Jake Joseph.

After high school, Julie moved to Oahu, Hawaii with Stephanie Thomas where they "partied hard".  She moved back home, finished getting her bachelors at USL and went on to graduate school at LSU.  She was recruited out of school to work at a fertility center in Margate, Florida.  She was married in 1996 to a wonderful "coonass".  They lived in Florida until 1997.  They moved home and opened a restaurant with her brother Wally.  (She does not recommend this business to anyone).  They closed the restaurant and she went to work for Dr. John Storment (yes, our classmate is a gynecologist/fertility specialist).  She soon started having babies of her own, no help necessary (except from her husband, of course).  They are having great success with the clinic and she is having great fun raising a 1 and 2 year old.

Julie lists some of her hobbies as cooking and entertaining, playing with her kids, going out to dinner and dancing, and on occasion, partying hard.

Some of Julie's high school memories include the senior class parties, hanging out with friends, Sister Donna's Advanced Biology Class, Father Courville's Religion Class, and of course, being horrendous whenever possible.
