Dolores Cormier

Dolores is living in Lafayette and is married to Christopher Zenon.  They have two children, Corey who was born May 10, 1991 and their second, Christian who was born November 22, 1996.

Dolores attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana where she earned her degree in Education.  She is teaching at Broussard Middle.  Dolores has many many accomplishments of which include Teacher of the Year, Elementary Teacher of the Year, Grant Awardee - Governor's State Environmental Science, Challenge 2000 Technology Parish Teacher, Science/Technology Presenter, School Wide Assistance Coordinator, an Clinical Supervisor, and is a National Board Certified Teacher.  Delores recently achieved National Board Certification.  She is considered to be HIGHLY QUALIFIED and can teach anywhere in the United States.  Delores is one of only three teachers in Lafayette Parish with the highest certification a teacher can attain, "National Board Certified Teacher". 

Dolores enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

Some of her High School memories include participating in GODSPELL.  Practicing with the cast members.  The skip day we stood in front of the office to beg the administration or protest rather to permission to go on.  The several funny antics a few of our fearless classmates did.  Track meets, teammates an Graduation.
