Christy Castille

Christy is living in Lafayette, Louisiana.  She is married to John Sutherlin.  They have a daughter, Alexandra who was born January 18, 1999 and a son, Ian who was born on July 3, 2002.

Christy attended USL, now U of L and LSU.  She got her degree in Bachelor and Graduate Studies.

Christy worked in the Environmental Industry for 10 years.  She is now a full time Mommy!

Christy lists her accomplishments as Receiving the Customer Service Award from The Department of Environmental Quality which she was formerly employed.  Member of the Board of Directors of Baton Rouge Earth Day, Inc. from 1990 - 1995.  Received a grant from the National Gardening Association in 1996 for the Laf. Compost Facility while working for Laf. Consolidated Gov, Environmental Division.  She's working on numerous other grants and contracts while working in the environmental industry.  Research Associate for documentary film series "Our Urban Environment". Received first place awards for children's photography.  She has enjoyed taking numerous photography classes while living in New Orleans.

Since she has been a full time mom, her hobby includes taking pictures of her two children and her two nephews (Lisa Hamilton & her brother Jim's children).  In the future, when her children are both in school, she plans to devote herself to photography, full time.
